These guidelines apply to: conferences, congresses, corporate conventions and similar events. These guidelines be supplemented, depending on the specific context, with those relating to context, with those relating to catering (with particular reference to (with particular reference to buffet-style catering).
 In addition to the general measures already described above, the following are some more detailed supplementary measures.
- The maximum number of participants in the event must be assessed by the organisers on the basis of the capacity of the spaces identified, in order to reduce crowds. If the event is spread over several physically separate venues/pavilions, the maximum number of participants per venue/pavilion of the event must be identified.  Consequently, systems must be used to measure access and to limit and stagger access, including systems for booking the day and time of entry, in order to avoid crowds.
- Reorganise spaces to ensure orderly access to avoid queues and crowds.  If possible, organise separate entrance and exit routes.
- Promote the use of digital technologies in order to automate organisational and participatory processes (e.g. booking system, payment of tickets, filling in forms, printing of recognition systems, registration system, evaluation and satisfaction tests, delivery of certificates of participation) in order to avoid predictable crowds.
- The speakers' table and the podium for presentations must be reorganised in such a way as to allow a safe distance for speakers/moderators to intervene without the use of a mask in accordance with current legislation.
- The devices and equipment available to speakers, moderators and listeners (e.g. microphones, keyboards, mice, laser pointers, etc.) must be disinfected before initial use, ensuring that they are disconnected from the electrical connection.
- In the poster/exhibition areas, reorganise the spaces in such a way as to encourage respect for interpersonal distancing, assessing access quotas, and promoting the remote use of material by participants.
- Information and scientific materials should preferably be made available in self-service displays (accessed by visitors after they have sanitised their hands) or using digital systems.
- The regular sanitisation of the environments must be guaranteed, in any case at the end of each activity of a group of users, with particular attention to the most frequently touched surfaces, to the toilets and to the common areas (e.g. refreshment areas, keypads of vending machines for drinks and snacks).


To attend congress and Events Green Pass is not required.
